1 Injured in El Cajon Crash on Greenfield Drive Near Victor Street
EL CAJON (May 22, 2020) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision along Greenfield Drive near Victor Street on Thursday evening.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the 2-vehicle accident on May 21 at about 7:14 p.m. It happened at the location of 569 Greenfield Drive near the Magnolia Elementary School.
Officers said a red pickup truck and a red colored sedan collided for an unknown reason on Greenfield. An occupant apparently became trapped in one of the cars involved upon impact.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to one person who was confirmed to have suffered minor injuries following the crash.
According to the dispatch, medical personnel transported the patient to Sharp Memorial Hospital for further treatment. The name and condition of the wounded party were not available.
Meanwhile, officers blocked the roadway and reopened it after about 20 minutes. Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
