Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man on East Main Street Near Pepper Drive Thursday
El Cajon, CA (June 3, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident on East Main Street Thursday evening, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Our sources indicated officers received calls about a pedestrian seen walking across the roadway at about 10 p.m. In the area north of Pepper Driver, a passing motorist failed to notice and struck the 60-year-old man.

The article published online confirmed the pedestrian suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. Responding paramedics reportedly performed CPR on the man at the scene. Subsequently, medical personnel transported the patient to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, where he later sadly died.
Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the catastrophic incident have not been discussed thus far. Given that, investigators continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident on East Main Street in El Cajon.
