At Least 1 Killed, Several Injured in Collision at Fletcher Parkway and Navajo Road Saturday
El Cajon, CA (August 21, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred in the area of Fletcher Parkway and Navajo Road, the ABC10 News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle with multiple occupants crashed in El Cajon Saturday morning. According to the article published online, the Honda Civic was traveling at a high rate of speed east on Navajo Road. Officials believed the driver lost control of the car and veered off the traffic lanes.
Shortly after 2:11 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the Honda smashed into a light pole.
Deadly Car Crash in El Cajon, August 21
Responding paramedics pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Authorities briefly identified the deceased as a 12th-grade student at Grossmont High School.
Meanwhile, three other parties suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. No immediate information was available on the victims.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the fatal car crash at Fletcher Parkway and Navajo Road in El Cajon happened.
