Motorcyclist Badly Hurt in Collision on Interstate 8 at Los Coches Road Sunday
El Cajon, CA (September 5, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Sunday evening on the Interstate 8, also known as Kumeyaay Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the motorcyclist collided with a pickup truck; in the eastbound side of the freeway. The crash took place near Los Coches Road in El Cajon.
The CHP logged the incident at about 7:36 p.m.

When medical personnel arrived, they found the rider with major injuries. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. At this time, the name of the motorcyclist and their age remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the traffic collision have no been revealed thus far. Given that, investigators continue to work at this time to determined exactly how and why the motorcycle accident in El Cajon happened.
