2-Vehicle Crash El Centro on Highway 111
EL CENTRO, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2021) — An El Centro car accident left two injured Wednesday on Highway 111.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 8:43 a.m. near East Ross Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Also, the drivers of a Nissan Xterra and a Dodge were involved. Paramedics responded to treat both people for undisclosed injuries. It’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital. The CHP report does not identify those involved. Also, the report did not state what led up to the crash at this time, but it appears they collided head-on.
Both vehicles got towed from the scene due to major front-end damage.
The cause of the El Centro car accident remains under investigation. The CHP will determine fault. Police are seeking to determine what led to the crash and whether or not any citations are necessary. Witnesses are invited to contact authorities.
