4 Injured in El Centro Crash on Highway 111 Near McCabe Road
EL CENTRO, CA (January 29, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Highway 111 near McCabe Road in El Centro.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Friday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 5:52 p.m.
The incident happened on January 28 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the El Centro area of Imperial County. They crashed on Highway 111, just north of East McCabe Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Heber. They found a total of four people who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took at least two patients to the El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Highway 111 to shut down near McCabe following the wreck. The cause of the El Centro crash is still under investigation.
