Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident on State Route 111 in El Centro

EL CENTRO, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2025) — A car versus motorcycle accident on Highway 111 in El Centro happened Monday morning just south of East McCabe Road.

The traffic accident occurred on northbound SR-111 around 7:46 a.m. on Jan. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

A motorcycle rider and a driver in a Honda Accord were involved in the crash in the number one lane due to unknown circumstances.

The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office responded and requested the fire department send paramedics to help the injured motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital by ambulance due to undisclosed injuries.

Meanwhile, traffic lanes reopened following the investigation.
