2 Injured in El Cerrito Crash Near Temescal Canyon Road and Grant Street
EL CERRITO, CA (November 5, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a crash near Temescal Canyon Road and Grant Street in El Cerrito.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:52 p.m.
Cal Fire said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in El Cerrito and obtained major damage. The cars crashed on Temescal Canyon Road near Grant Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. Two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient sustained major injuries while the other survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed both patients to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Temescal Canyon to shut down near Grant following the wreck.
The cause of the El Cerrito crash is still under investigation.
