1 Seriously Injured in El Dorado County Crash at Pleasant Valley and Victory Mine
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (March 22, 2022) – A crash seriously injured at least one person at Pleasant Valley and Victory Mine roads in El Dorado County.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:04 p.m.
The incident happened on March 21 when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in the Tiger Lily community of El Dorado County.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a brown Dodge pickup truck and a Toyota sedan. They crashed at the intersection of Pleasant Valley and Victory Mine roads.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Placerville. They found one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Pleasant Valley and Victory Mine roads to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the El Dorado County crash is still under investigation.
