Bicycle Rider Injured in El Dorado Hills Accident on Errante Drive
EL DORADO HILLS, CA (April 29, 2021) – A bicycle rider was hospitalized after an accident on Errante Drive in El Dorado Hills.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the incident on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the crash on April 25 at about 1:48 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck the bicyclist for a unknown reason. The driver hit the 50-year-old man riding the bike at 3886 Errante Drive in El Dorado Hills.
Bicyclist, 50, Hit by Vehicle Near Borra Court
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near Borra Court. They found the cyclist who complained of pain to his back as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took him to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the rider. They forced the road to shut down following the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the bicycle accident.
