1 Injured in El Dorado Hills Crash Near Green Valley and Sophia
EL DORADO HILLS, CA (July 17, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Green Valley Road and Sophia Parkway in El Dorado Hills.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:08 p.m.
According to CHP, four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in El Dorado Hills. They crashed near the intersection of Green Valley Road and Sophia Parkway.
Several Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Mormon Island Wetlands State Park. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Green Valley Road and Sophia Parkway to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the El Dorado Hills crash.
