At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Encina Drive
El Dorado Hills, CA (April 30, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on Encina Drive Saturday afternoon.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 13-year-old female was driving a scooter traveling in the streets of El Dorado Hills. When the young lady approached the 505 block of Encina Drive, it collided with a passenger vehicle. Officials described the car involved in the wreck as a gray Mercedes minivan.
The crash took place around 2:53 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the scooter rider suffered major injuries as a result of the accident. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the scooter accident happened on Encina Drive in El Dorado Hills.
