Major Injury Collision on Highway 193 at Argonaut Mine Road Tuesday
El Dorado, CA (September 7, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 193 Tuesday afternoon.
Initial records indicated the wreck involved a motorcycle rider and a semi truck. For an unknown reason, the two motorists collided on the highway near Argonaut Mine Road in El Dorado.
CHP logged the incident at about 1:40 p.m.
Motorcycle Rider Hospitalized After Accident in El Dorado, September 7
When emergency teams arrived at the crash site, they found the rider lying down on the ground. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the man. An ambulance later transported them to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for further treatment. At this time, the name of the injured motorcyclist and their condition remained undisclosed.
Officials mentioned the big rig involved in the collision was pulling a 30-feet loaded trailer. The operator of the truck appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the motorcycle and truck accident in El Dorado.
