Motorcycle, SUV Involved in I-10 Freeway Collision
EL MONTE, Calif. (August 14, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured in an El Monte crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Los Angeles County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:55 a.m. on August 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a black Honda Pilot collided with the motorcyclist in the express lanes of the I-10 Freeway due to unknown circumstances.
The rider went down in the fast lane of the freeway and several other vehicles stopped to assist the injured motorcyclist.
Paramedics responded to help the injured, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital or treated only on scene.
Investigators will review the circumstances and determine fault for the El Monte motorcycle crash on the 10 Freeway.
