Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle at El Segundo and Sepulveda
El Segundo, CA (October 8, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of El Segundo and Sepulveda Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the busy intersection in El Segundo. Earlier reports indicated the crash involved a marked local police car.
CHP logged the incident on October 7 around 11:05 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in El Segundo
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Medical personal attended to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained unknown.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly pedestrian accident at El Segundo and Sepulveda Boulevard.
