Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at El Segundo and Aviation Boulevards
EL SEGUNDO, CA (October 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash at El Segundo and Aviation boulevards.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Tuesday afternoon in El Segundo. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The accident happened on October 19 when a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of East El Segundo and Aviation boulevards.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 405 Freeway. They found the motorcyclist hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unknown injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help the rider and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the El Segundo hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
