One Injured in Crash on Appian Way in Contra Costa County
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2024) — One person was taken to a hospital with injuries after a two-vehicle car accident Thursday morning at Appian Way and Santa Rita Road in El Sobrante.
The traffic accident occurred at around 11:26 a.m. on Dec. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported one of the motorists was allegedly driving recklessly prior to colliding with the other motorist, causing one vehicle to overturn. One of the cars had smoke coming from its engine.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person with minor injuries to a hospital.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles including a grey sedan that overturned on its side and a sedan with major front-end damage.
