STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. (July 19, 2018) — An elderly couple were attacked by four pit bull dogs Tuesday night in the front yard of their Modesto home, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
The man was attacked in the front yard of his home and the woman was found inside the home. Both people were critically injured with multiple dog bites and wounds.
Paramedics rushed the couple to the hospital where they are being treated.
Upon their arrival at the scene, police shot and killed all four of the dogs they captured.
The animals were acting in a vicious manner and were a threat to the community, police said.
At this time, we do not know who owned the dogs, but they did not belong to the victims.
Stanislaus County Animal Services is also conducting an investigation into whether these animals have attacked anyone else in the past.

At this time, police are investigating the attack in an effort to determine who owned the dogs.
