Elida Rodriguez, 73, Killed in San Rafael Pedestrian Crash at Fourth and G Streets
SAN RAFAEL, CA (May 18, 2021) – A pedestrian accident at Fourth Street and G Street killed Elida Rodriguez in San Rafael.
The county coroner’s office identified the 73-year-old San Rafael woman as the victim of the fatal crash on Tuesday morning.
The incident began when Elida Delgado Rodriguez was crossing west on Fourth Street at the intersection with G Street in San Rafael. At the same time, a white box truck was going north on G Street.
Police said the driver failed to see the elderly woman. The commercial vehicle then struck her in the crosswalk for an unknown reason.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found Elida Rodriguez lying unresponsive and unresponsive on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene. The Marin Independent Journal and CBS San Francisco wrote that the accident took place at around 8 a.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the operator of the box truck stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the pedestrian. Officials forced the area to shut down for several hours following the collision.
