Elk Grove crash Calvine Vintage Park
1 Injured in Elk Grove Crash at Calvine Road and Vintage Park Drive
ELK GROVE, CA (October 21, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Calvine Road and Vintage Park Drive in Elk Grove.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on October 20 at about 9:10 a.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Elk Grove. They crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Calvine Road and Vintage Park Drive.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a gray Honda Accord and a green Toyota Corolla. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Calvine High School.
They then found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took the patient to the Methodist Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Calvine and Vintage Park to shut down following the incident.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Elk Grove crash.
