Auto VS Motorcycle Crash on Highway 99 Near Cosumnes River Boulevard

October 24, 2018 – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle occurred on northbound Highway 99 Tuesday morning, according to Sacramento Bee.
Officials said a motorcyclist and another vehicle collided on the part of the highway near Cosumnes River Boulevard. As per the article, the incident was a rear-end crash but CHP logs did not indicate which vehicle may have rear-ended the other.
Shortly after 7 a.m., medical personnel responded to the site and reportedly found the motorcycle rider down in the slow lane of the highway.
At this time, the status of the rider, sedan driver and any other passengers remained unclear.
Authorities shut down two lanes on the highway following the wreck to give way to the investigation. Liability in the accident is still being determined.
