ELVERTA (June 20, 2016)- According to the Sacramento Bee, Donna Zurfluh, 65, of Elverta, has been identified as the victim killed in a hit-and-run Saturday morning on Elverta Road.
The Sacramento Bee read that Donna Zurfluh was walking eastbound along Elverta Road before being struck by a speeding unidentified motorist.
A motorist saw the 65-year-old woman’s body lying in the road and phoned 9-1-1 at around 6:00 a.m.
The victim was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene due to blunt force trauma injuries.
California Highway Patrol officials are currently investigating the fatal collision and encourage anyone with information to contact Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357.
