Woman Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Market Street and Euclid Avenue Saturday
Emerald Hills, CA (April 10, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Market Street and Euclid Avenue Saturday evening.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported a vehicle struck a female party at the intersection in Emerald Hills. At the moment, the make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown.
Officials said the crash took place at approximately 9:25 p.m.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident in Emerald Hills, April 10
When medical personnel arrived at the accident scene, they immediately rendered aid to the woman found with injuries. Due to the extent of her trauma, an ambulance rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment. Our sources indicated the victim sustained injuries to their head.
Responding police officers found the driver at the scene. The motorist reportedly stayed after the incident and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident in Emerald Hills.
