It was believed that the suspect, 25-year-old Eduardo Medrano Jr., left the scene in a gold or tan Infiniti 4-door sedan with a license number 6MWM091, which reportedly drove up to the accident site. Medrano turned himself into police on Friday evening, July 21.
Authorities are also considering the driver of the Infiniti sedan as a “person of interest” in the incident which remains under investigation.

In this incident, it is evident that Mr. Eduardo Medrano Jr. will be held fully responsible for causing the collision that led to the death of the innocent girl. Regardless of his reasons, leaving the scene following a crash is a serious crime and punishable by law, especially if the collision fatally injured another individual. We are hopeful that the authorities will soon be able to track down the suspect and the other person of interest.
