Man Killed in Palmdale Crash on 40th Street East
PALMDALE, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2022) — Emmanuel Francisco, 35, died Saturday in a two-vehicle Palmdale crash on 40th Street East and East Avenue O.
The crash occurred at 6:56 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12th at the Palmdale intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black Toyota and another vehicle collided in a head-on crash when one of the vehicles veered into the path of the other one, the CHP dispatch said.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified Emmanuel Francisco as the person who died in the crash.
Meanwhile, three other people suffered injuries in the collision and firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department rescued two of them who became trapped in one of the vehicles, police said.
Authorities closed down the north and southbound lanes of 40th Street East to investigate the collision.
