Man Killed in New Year’s Day Crash in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. (Jan. 2, 2026) – Emmanuel Juarez, 21, died in a two-vehicle crash on New Year’s Day along 170th Street East in Lancaster.
The traffic accident occurred at 6:53 a.m. on January 1st in the area of 170th Street East and Avenue P, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances and then one of them crashed into a light pole.
Unfortunately, a man from one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was later identified as 21-year-old Emmanuel Juarez, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
