1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized After Collision at South Santa Fe and South Avenue Tuesday
Empire, CA (August 3, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a motorcycle crash that occurred in the area of South Santa Fe and South Avenue Tuesday evening.
The Central Valley TV News reported a man riding a motorbike collided with a small gray car at the Empire intersection. According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place shortly before 10:30 p.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found at least two parties with injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to one person, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities added the second person was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Additional details on the patient remained undisclosed.
Our sources indicated responding officers shut down the intersection for approximately two hours to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal motorcycle crash in Empire.
