Rider Killed in Collision Near Grandview Street Thursday
Encinitas, CA (March 19, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on North Coast Highway 101 Thursday, the Times of San Diego News reported.
Our sources indicated a man riding a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the area near Grandview Street. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash remained unknown.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on North Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas
Shortly after 3:49 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the motorcyclist lying unconscious on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the rider sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers mentioned the occupants in the car appeared unharmed after the incident.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash on North Coast Highway 101.
