Elderly Woman Fatally Struck by Car on Balour Drive
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, October 5th
October 6, 2018 – A 76-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday evening on Balour Drive, according to CW San Diego.
At approximately 7 p.m., an elderly woman was reportedly crossing in the 500 block of Balour Drive. For reasons still under investigation, the pedestrian was struck by a Toyota Prius heading northbound.

Primary reports indicated a bystander rushed and performed lifesaving measures to the elderly. Then, when emergency personnel arrived at the location, they immediately transported the victim to a hospital where she was sadly pronounced deceased.
The name of the fatality remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no information has been yet released on the motorist involved.
The detectives handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what happened here and why.
