SONOMA COUNTY, California (October 10, 2016) — Endrias Atlaw, 18, of Santa Rosa was killed and his teenage passenger Ivanova Aleksandr, 18, was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a crash on Highway 1 and Bay Hill Road in Bodega Bay.
The crash was reported by the Press Democrat and the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Police say the Atlaw was driving a Honda Civic when he crashed broadside into a huge eucalyptus tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Aleksandr was transported by ambulance and then REACH helicopter to a local hospital with very serious injuries.
The fatal crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
