Driver and Passenger Dies in collision on Interstate 15
San Diego, CA (October 18,2022) – Eric Alonso, and Angel Fiero Morales both suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
The FOX5 News reported Alonso and Morales, both 18-year-old, were riding in a gray Honda Civic traveling on the freeway in San Diego. When the car approached the area near the Old Highway 395 crossing, the Honda crashed into the back of a disabled tractor trailer parked on the right shoulder of I-15.
Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place Thursday at about 7:13 a.m.
Double Fatal Car Accident in San Diego
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the passenger unconscious. Paramedics later confirmed Angel Fiero Morales sadly died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver–Eric Alonso, was reportedly taken to Palomar Medical Center. The patient eventually succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly crash happened on Interstate 15.
