Eric Burton, 51, Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash Near Naglee and Dana
SAN JOSE, CA (June 7, 2021) – A pedestrian accident killed Eric Burton near Naglee and Dana avenues in San Jose last week.
The Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified the 51-year-old San Jose man as the victim of the crash which occurred on Wednesday.
The incident happened when Eric Thomas Burton was walking through the intersection of Naglee and Dana avenues in San Jose.
Police said for an unknown reason, a white 2000 Toyota Camry struck him. The car hit the man on June 2 in the Rose Garden neighborhood.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found Eric Burton suffering from major injuries as a result of the pedestrian collision.
Medical personnel rushed him to a local hospital, where he died on Monday. The Mercury News wrote that the accident took place at about 9:44 p.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Toyota stopped and stayed at the crash site after hitting the victim. The cause of the fatal San Jose collision is still under investigation.
