Motorcyclist Killed, Justin Novack, 46, Injured in Napa Crash
NAPA (September 19, 2019) – Motorcycle rider Eric Jensen, 39, died in a collision with a car Wednesday night at Berryessa Drive and Berryessa Knoxville Road.
The crash took place just after 6 p.m. on Sept. 18th. The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Berryessa Knoxville Road when a driver in a Chevrolet turned in front of the bike, according to reports by The Press Democrat and Napa Valley Register.
Justin Novack, 46, of Stevinson, reportedly stopped on Berryessa Drive before entering the intersection with Berryessa Knoxville Road. His car pulled out in front of the bike driven by Jensen and the two vehicles collided. The bike struck the left side of the Chevrolet. Police believe the motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed when the crash occurred, but that fact is under investigation.
Jensen was thrown off his bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Novack and his passenger had complaints of pain, but were not taken to a hospital. The crash remains under investigation by police to determine fault.
