Eric Bernard Johnson, 52, Fatal Victim in Traffic Collision Near Kimberly Drive Friday
American Canyon, CA (May 7, 2021) – Eric Bernard Johnson, a 52-year-old Solano County man, died following a bicycle accident on Highway 29.
On May 7, Friday, a minivan struck Eric Johnson in the northbound side of Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive. The Napa Valley Register reported the man was riding a bicycle in the slow northbound lane of the freeway when the horrible crash happened.

Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 12:20 a.m. According to the article, Eric Johnson sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. It remained unclear whether the victim sadly died at the scene or at a hospital.
Investigators later determined there were no lights on the bike and the rider was wearing dark clothing.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident.
