1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Washington Road Near Taylor Road Monday
Keyes, CA (April 12, 2021) – A tragic road accident left 30-year-old Eric Mays with injuries Monday afternoon on Washington Road.
According to the Modesto Bee, a Dodge pickup crashed for an unknown reason into a tractor. The catastrophic collision took place in the southbound side of Washington Road, just north of Taylor Road in Keyes.
Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 1:50 p.m.

Per news article published online, Eric Mays, the driver of the Dodge, suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The condition of the patient remained unknown at this time.
Investigators mentioned Eric Mays, of Turlock, was traveling at about 35 mph when the accident happened. Meanwhile, investigators continue to determine whether the tractor was established in the roadway or came out from an orchard.
Several factors surrounding the crash in Keyes remained unclear. For this reason, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the road accident that killed the operator of the tractor.
