Eric Williams Killed Pedestrian Accident on Indio Boulevard, Highway 111

Indio Man, 39, Identified as Crash Victim

INDIO, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2025) — Eric Williams, 39, died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday night on Indio Boulevard, just east of Highway 111 in Riverside County.

A driver reportedly struck and killed the Indio man just after 11:45 p.m., according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.

A driver traveling along Indio Boulevard struck the victim who allegedly ran into the path of the vehicle. The man suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Riverside coroner later identified him as Eric Williams, 39, of Indio.

The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
