Passenger Dies in Collision Near Lebec Service Road
Bakersfield, CA (September 7, 2022) – Erica Hayden, an 18-year-old female, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
According to an article published online by Bakersfield.com, a car crash took place August 27 in the northbound side of the freeway. The collision happened just north of Lebec Service Road.
The exact number of vehicles found at the scene remained unknown.
Fatal Car Accident on Interstate 5 in Bakersfield
Shortly after 7:10 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found a female passenger suffering in serious injuries. Paramedics rushed the victim to Kern Medical for treatment. On August 31, the patient sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The Kern County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Erica Hayden, of Bakersfield.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the drivers involved in the catastrophic incident. Further investigation on the case is underway.
