1 Dead, 2 Hurt in 5-Vehicle Collision
LOS ANGELES, California (October 16, 2016) –Erik Ochoa, 36, of Panorama City was killed and two were injured in a multi-vehicle DUI crash in the North Hills area Saturday night, according to Daily News.
The accident involving five cars took place about 9:10 p.m. at Roscoe Boulevard and Woodley Avenue.
As per the article, police said 35-year-old Braulio Triana was driving a Honda Odyssey east on Roscoe when he allegedly struck a 2001 Ford Taurus headed north on Woodley driven by Ochoa.
The collision reportedly impacted three more vehicles which were stopped westbound at Roscoe Boulevard.
Ochoa, who was driving the Ford Taurus, died at the scene.
Two more victims sustained injuries described as minor.
Meanwhile, Triana was believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the wreck. The 35-year-old Panorama City man arrested on suspicion on gross vehicular manslaughter.
