Ernest Seyfert, 66, Hit and Killed by Truck on Olive Drive Sunday
Davis, CA (January 4, 2021) – A 66-year-old man died following a pedestrian accident on Olive Drive Sunday evening, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated a truck hit the male pedestrian along Olive Drive in front of Bros. Liquor. The tragic incident took place at about 6 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian lying unconscious on the roadway. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
The authorities identified the fatal victim as Ernest Seyfert.

Meanwhile, investigators revealed the driver of the truck fled the scene. Police located on Monday the hit-and-run suspect, then arrested him in relation to the fatal collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed Seyfert was in his apartment at Cesar Chavez Plaza. The victim was apparently with the suspect, his friend, before the tragic incident happened.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
