Moreno Valley Woman, 22, Struck and Killed on Freeway

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (June 6, 2024) — Ernestine Jones, 22, of Moreno Valley, died early Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident on the Moreno Valley Freeway in Riverside County.

The deadly, Moreno Valley collision occurred at around 3 a.m. on June 6th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.

The young woman was struck by a vehicle on the westbound State Route 60 between Indian Avenue and Perris Boulevard, the report said.

Investigators with the California Highway Patrol Riverside station closed down the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway to investigate what happened.
