1 Seriously Injured in Escalon Crash on East River Road Near Sexton Road
ESCALON, CA (April 1, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash along River Road in Escalon.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:09 p.m.
According to their report, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at 23124 East River Road near Sexton and Brennan roads in Escalon.

CHP described the cars involved as a dark colored Ford F-150 pickup truck and a silver Chevrolet Cavalier. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Del Rio.
They rescued a male occupant who ended up trapped inside one vehicle as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took a patient to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the road to close after the Escalon crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
