Motorcyclist Killed in Escalon Crash at Escalon-Bellota and Dove Roads

ESCALON, CA (September 25, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist at Escalon-Bellota Road and Dove Road in Escalon.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2 p.m.

The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a silver Lexus sedan collided for an unknown reason in Escalon. The two crashed at the intersection of Escalon-Bellota and Dove roads.

Motorcycle and Car Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the fatal wreck is still under investigation.

Officers forced the area of Escalon-Bellota and Dove roads to shut down for a time after the incident.
