At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Avocado Highway Wednesday
Escondido, CA (June 9, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal car crash that occurred on Interstate 15, also known as Avocado Highway, Wednesday evening.
At approximately 6:05 p.m., an accident involving a white sedan took place in the northbound side of the freeway in Escondido. The exact number of vehicles found at the scene remained undisclosed.

Medical personnel arrived at the crash site and rendered aid to all possible victims. The California Highway Patrol dispatch confirmed one person suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance reportedly rushed the patient to a hospital, where the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car cash in Escondido.
