At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Mesa Rock Road and Centre City Parkway Friday
Escondido, CA (November 28, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of Mesa Rock Road and Centre City Parkway on November 26, Friday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a black Honda Civic collided with a work truck at the intersection in Escondido.
CHP logged the incident at about 1:03 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found an adult male party bleeding and trapped in the disabled Civic. It was not immediately clear whether the injured party was in the driver, or passenger seat. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Officials mentioned the operator of the truck fled the scene. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash at Mesa Rock Road and Centre City Parkway is underway.
