Motorcyclist, SUV Crash on I-15 in Escondido

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2025) — A motorcycle versus SUV accident happened Thursday morning in Escondido on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Citracado Parkway.

The traffic accident occurred at 6:36 a.m. on Feb. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist went down in the HOV lane after colliding with the SUV due to unknown circumstances. A white sedan also stopped following the crash, but it’s unknown if that vehicle was involved.

Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the bike from the freeway.
