At Least 1 Killed in Collision on 40 Freeway
Essex, CA (May 29, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly car accident that occurred on the Interstate 40, also known as Needles Freeway.
Officials said multiple vehicles collided on the freeway in Essex on May 27, Friday. According to the CHP dispatch, the wreck involved a pickup truck pulling a boat. The make and model of the other automobiles found at the scene have not been revealed thus far.
CHP logged the case at about 9:51 p.m.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Essex
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately checked the conditions of all the occupants in the disabled cars. After the evaluation, paramedics sadly confirmed the death of at least one person. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the horrible crash on Interstate 40 in Essex.
