Estanislo Garcia Killed in Pedestrian Accident at San Pedro and 83rd Streets

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2025) – A 75-year-old man identified as Estanislo Garcia has been identified as the man who died Sunday in a pedestrian accident while crossing San Pedro Street at 83rd Street in the Florence area of Los Angeles.

The deadly crash occurred on Jan. 4th at 5:49 p.m., according to a Los Angeles Police Department report.

The vehicle was traveling northbound on San Pedro Street when the motorist struck the man as he was walking westbound inside a crosswalk, police said. Unfortunately, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stopped and cooperated with authorities, police said.

The pedestrian’s name was released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
