2-Vehicle Crash in Bayview Area of Eureka

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2024) — A minor injury crash happened Monday morning at Herrick Avenue and Alpine Court in the Bayview area of Eureka.

The two-vehicle collision occurred in front of the Humboldt Bay Fire Station around 6:54 a.m. on Dec. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a Toyota sedan and another vehicle were involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the collision.

Paramedics responded with an ambulance to help at least one person with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the Toyota sedan with two flat tires and other damage from the crash scene.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Herrick Avenue in Eureka.
