
1 Badly Injured in Eureka Crash at Wabash Avenue and A Street
EUREKA, CA (February 23, 2023) – One was badly injured after a crash at Wabash Avenue and A Street in Eureka.
According to an article published by the KYMKEMP, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 12 p.m.
The incident happened on February 22 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Eureka. The cars crashed at the intersection of Wabash Avenue and A Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Humboldt Bay Fire said one vehicle jumped onto the sidewalk and plowed into a building nearby. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one person hurt.
The patient sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Wabash Avenue and A Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Eureka crash is still under investigation.
