2 Injured in Eureka Crash Near I Street and Russ Street
EUREKA, CA (November 29, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near I Street and Russ Street in Eureka.
According to an article published by the KYMKEMP, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4 p.m.
The incident happened on November 28 when multiple vehicles collided in Eureka. The cars crashed near the intersection of I Street and Russ Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
One car possibly struck a pedestrian in the area. The reported described two of the vehicles as a GMC Yukon SUV and a Toyota Solara.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. Two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of I Street and Russ Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Eureka crash is still under investigation.
